In the “Roy-Hart-Center-Work” we explore the voice in in all its colors and expressive possiblities, independently of aesthetic norms and conventions. We examine the connection of voice and body and voice and perception and move into new territiry of our voices beyond the areas that we are habitually using. In group, partner and individual sessions we find a lot of space to experience and explore our own voices.

Freiheit und Form - die eigene Stimme an der Schwelle zur Musik

Mit Walli Höfinger kann im Rahmen von Somatic Voice die Erforschung unserer Stimme in all ihren Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten und Klangfarben mit der Stimmarbeit nach Roy Hart fortgesetzt werden. Wir widmen uns dieser in Südfrankreich beheimateten und ausdrucksstarken Methode 5 Tage intensiv.

Unabhängig von gängigen ästhetischen Normen erforschen wir den Zusammenhang von Stimme und Leib/Körper sowie Stimme und Bewusstsein. Wir verlassen die ausgetretenen Pfade, so wie wir unsere Stimme kennen und zu benutzen gewohnt sind.

In diesem Workshop untersuchen wir, was wir in unserer Stimme als Musik empfinden. Durch das Entdecken der eigenen Kompetenz, Wahrnehmung und Experimentierfreudigkeit erobern wir die Musik schrittweise zurück aus den Händen der Spezialisten und Profis. Spielerische Übungen in der Gruppe, Partner- und Einzelarbeit öffnen ein weites Feld zur Erfahrung der eigenen Stimme.

Freedom and form - one's own voice on the threshold of music

With Walli Höfinger, we can continue our exploration of the voice in all its expressive possibilities and timbres with Roy Hart vocal work as part of Somatic Voice. We will devote five days to this expressive method, which originated in the south of France.

We will explore the connection between voice and body/physicality as well as voice and consciousness, independently of established aesthetic norms. We leave the well-trodden paths of how we know and are accustomed to using our voices.

In this workshop, we examine what we perceive as music in our voices. By discovering our own abilities, perception and willingness to experiment, we gradually take music back out of the hands of specialists and professionals. Playful exercises in the group, with partners and individually open up a wide range of possibilities for experiencing one's own voice.
